I have acne all over my chest, shoulders, sides, my entire back and halfway down my belly since I was about 2 months pregnant & Im currently 7 1/2 months. I Dont have pimples on my face except the normal one hea & there, Thank God. I feel so gross & dirty, I hate having these breakouts all over me, argh. I tried to use Dove Bar Soap, Dove Liquid Soap & Neutrogena Body Acne Wash in the shower but nothing seems to work. So, I was wondering how long after Delivery does it take to go away?! Anyone please? This is my 3rd pregnancy & never got it with my other 2, jus goes to show how different each pregnancy is, haha.

i am 6mths pregnant and i have the worst acne ever, i started to break out at about 8 wks, everybody keeps telling me they will go away after the baby is born, but i feel so unattractive knowing that my face is the first thing ppl see, my bf says its normal and i shouldnt worry but as a woman i do, can anyone give me any solution to clear up the acne,thats safe to use while pregnant? thx

at the beginning of my pregnancy my complexion really freaked out. Then it started on my chest I have NEVER had a pimple on my chest…it’s not like a normal breakout they are really small but there are a lot of them. It doesn’t seems to be getting better. Has anyone else experienced this….did it go back to normal/away after pregnancy??….geeez I sure hope so

Did/do you have acne during your pregnancy? If so, did you suffer with acne before you got pregnant? Do you have sensitive skin?

I’m just wondering, because i suffered with acne for 11 years and now my face is completely clear- been for about 3 years now.

Are some people more prone to getting acne while pregnant?

like…i know that when your on ur period somtimes it makes people break out well…does being pregnant do that also?

p.s i was just wondering if it does my period doesnt give me acne thgh but..i do have a little bit but..i have the face cleansing things the only problem is i kant use them kuz they have that silic stuff in them and all otehr acne medications make my face break out.

I had started taking monodox (an oral medication to treat acne) and this is what I found on the website—PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: Monodox has been shown to cause harm to the fetus. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Monodox while you are pregnant. Monodox is found in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Monodox .

I am 4 weeks pregnant now and stopped taking the medication 4 days ago when I found out I was pregnant. I did not stop taking it before because I was not expecting to get pregnant. This is my second child and I am taking care of myself now and will be seeing the dermatologist tom to ask any questions but what do you think?

I never got it when I was pregnant with my son….but now, I’m 6 months and Im breaking out like CRAZY!!! I can’t take my usual acne medication because of the baby… but does anyone know of any creams/face washes that worked for them?

…..as the lady at the chemist said that it was okay to use during pregnancy. Have used it once or twice a day for at least two weeks straight there-abouts and just thought I’d look it up on the internet now out of curiosity.

Do you guys think that I have anything to worry about since I have been using it for weeks straight!?

I ALWAYS check up on EVERY medication I have had to take even if my doctor/OBGYN tells me that it is okay to use in pregnancy. This time though I didn’t check as I had been recommended to use the wash as it was a good alternative while pregnant, and the ladies working at the chemist led me straight to it also and said that it was safe.

For your information also, the USUAL acne wash AND cream I use for acne I stopped using as soon as I was trying to get pregnant. It is NOT to be used during pregnancy.

So here I thought I was being safe and now I’m really worried.

Should I ring my OBGYN tomorrow and tell him all about this?

ARGH! I wish I had checked into this product properly!

Acne during early pregnancy?
I have been TTC and got my af the 31st. It’s was fairly light and over with in 3 days. I have had really bad acne this month (I Usually don’t) and it seems to have gotten worse AFTER my "cycle".
A normal cycle my acne will go away after I have finished my af. Is It possible I am starting to get symptoms and It wasn’t a period? My DH has said that i’ve had really bad mood swings, along with headaches, discomfort in my lower abdomen and back, increased appetite are just a few more. What do you think? Is it all in my head?

I know it’s hormones but my face and chest are breaking out like worse than when i was a teenager and it’s hard enough feeling cute when pregnant….thanks!!
