Can I go to a regualr doctor (not a dermatologist) for cystic acne, he should be able to check everything and prescribe me something right?
Yes but I have no insurance and dermatologists are very expensive.

I looove milk, I actually prefer skim milk more but sometimes my mom only buys whole milk and when I drink cups of it I BREAK OUT in cystic acne it’s horrible. Why? I thought milk was suppose to be good for you?
My teenage daughter has an outbreak of cystic acne for 2 weeks now, and I really have no idea how to treat this. Please, if anyone knows anything that I can buy online to combat this, let me know. I’d really appreciate any kind of help. Going to the doctor just costing too much money for us right now. Thank you all.
Where can I get Accutane online? Any reliable foreign pharmacy that doesn’t need prescription? Can someone email me? Thanks
OKay, i don’t suffer from acne, but i do get the occasional spot, but i can deal with them. What i cant deal with are these Cystic pimples (They are the inward grown pimples) they are really hard and painful.
I heard that Vicks Vaporub (the thing that you use for colds) works for them, but im too scared to try, is it worth a shot?
Also, any other suggestions?
Thanks
Peace out!
I can’t afford a dermatologist right now, so cortisone shots are not an option. Topical acne treatments (those you put on the surface of your skin) do not help cystic acne because it is below the surface of the skin, so please don’t recommend any washes or scrubs. Are there any over-the-counter vitamins or pills that would help? Any foods to eat or avoid eating?
I get normal acne too, but the cystic acne is so painful. I use a Neutrogena wash day and night, and Differin at night but the Differin doesn’t seem to help… what can I use to get rid of and prevent acne and cystic acne? Is there something else my doc can prescribe?
I wash myself 1-2 times a day with a good soap but I still have this gross cystic acne. It’s deep down under my skin like an inch. I have ones that are on the surface and ones that are deep underneath the surface that are very sore. Are there any products or home remedies I could use? Help I’m desperate :’(
Two different doctors over the course of five years have just written me a prescription for Accutane. It just keeps popping back up just as bad, or this time worse.
I have asked questions about this before but I am on meds for my cystic acne. I have been on bactrim and clindamycin gel for two weeks but today I started forming 5 more new cysts. I am so depressed I can’t even focus on anything! I hate to look at myself in the mirror all I see are these huge red cysts and along with that scars, and discoloration from future skin issues. I know I know give the medicine time, I hear that all the time but when you look like this you just wish someone would say "Oh this is what you can do" unfortunately i understand there really isn’t anything you can do about cystic acne.
But if anyone has any ideas please feel free to let me know!
Thank You!
Lately I’ve been having cystic acne (blind zits). I used to only get them about once per year, rarely twice per year. Since October I have had 6 of them. I’ve been on the pill for over a year and a half and I know they say BC is one way of helping the cysts. Is the medicine wearing off? I’m not on insurance so it’s not like I can just walk into a clinic and ask for Accutane, my budget is pretty slim as it is.
Are there any home sollutions that actually work on cystic acne? Because that’s all I’m looking for.
I posted this before, and all the answer I got were not effective. Don’t suggest Proactive, epsom salt, lemon juice, witch hazel, toothpaste, hot compress, popping (and yes I know you’re not supposed to pop cysts), eyedrops to get rids of redness, rubbing alcohol, face wash, exfoliant…I wash my face once, sometimes twice a day and exfoliate almost everyday since I have very dry skin. Will anything besides these work?
The amount of times I’ve popped them, whether cystic or not…I scar when I don’t pop them. So you’re wrong about the scarring, because I’m proof of it.
And if I had a tomato I would use it. Otherwise there is a bottle of OJ, a pitcher of filtered water, and a loaf of bread in my fridge, aside from condiments that’s pretty much it. So no tomatoes here…
