I’ve finally past the bad hormone stage and have been having less break outs. Now I need something to help with the scars I have. They make it look like I have acne and its not attractive. I’d love a boost of confidence by getting rid of the scars. So what is a good cream or treatment thats on the cheaper side? Preferably on the fast working side too

Emu Oil is excellent for treating all types scars and abrasions. Emu Oil can help treat and advance the healing of scarring and marks from surgery – procedural or cosmetic, injury, lacerations, or from scars from pregnancy or body building (stretch marks). Applied twice a day to the affected area, Emu Oil helps with accelerated regeneration of new tissue and skin cells. It promotes new collagen and elastin fiber development (connective tissue) as well as helping heal torn skin. Emu Oil is a natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. It has been used for centuries in Australia for treatment of burns, cuts, wounds, and for treating common skin problems such as rashes, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne. It is particularly helpful and effective for treating all types of scars – keloid, c-section, cosmetic or plastic surgery, elective surgery or repair (appendectomy, for instance), old acne scars, teen or adult acne, etc. It is unique in its ability to encourage new skin growth as well as improve the health, elasticity and growth of new tissue. Emu Oil naturally fights bacteria that in turn improves the healing process. Its a natural guard against inflammation – reducing exposure and occurrence of infection, bacteria, soreness. Emu Oil for scars has and is becoming increasingly popular as its properties are becoming better known in North America. For treating scarring of all types it works great – and visible results are usually seen in 3-4 weeks as scars begin to fade and …

Dr. Thomas P. Habif, MD discusses Acne Rosacea Information. See more at www.dermnet.com PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Rosacea is a chronic disorder involving the central face including the cheeks, chin, nose, and central forehead. There are various combinations of flushing, erythema, telangiectasia, edema, papules, pustules, ocular lesions, and deep inflammation of the nose. These signs may be transient and each may occur independently. One or more of the features may be present. There are remissions and exacerbations. The etiology and pathogenesis are unknown and there are no histologic or serologic markers. Rosacea is common with a prevalence as high as 10% in some populations. It appears to be more common in people with fair skin, but it is also found in Asians and African Americans. Rosacea may occur at any age but most patients are over 30. Rosacea has been classified into 4 subtypes. Evolution from one subtype to another may occur. It is important to treat rosacea to prevent progression of disease.
