I have moderate acne on my forehead and I get some random pimples in other places on my face, but not as badly.
I’d really like to get a lotion that is oil free and I can get in most stores. I don’t want it to clog my pores or be too expensive.
If there’s anything out there like that, that will help smooth and moisturize my skin, it would be really great if you could tell me what it is.
And please-don’t say Oil of Olay. I’ve tried it, and it doesn’t work with my skin.
Thankyou so much for your help
I’m not asking for a cleanser-just an under moisturizer for my face. Thankyou
I’ve had these red blotches since I was in elementary school (now in high school). I do have a bit of acne, but I cleanse my face twice everyday with Clean & Clear, and sometimes put moisturizer on. My skin is slightly oily, but it’s mostly on my nose and forehead. I wash my hair everyday, if that matters, and I try to change my pillowcase as often as I can. I also clip my bangs to the side when I sleep, but these red blotches seem to never go away. The only things I pop are whiteheads, which don’t show up frequently.
I heard rosacea could be it, but from what I’ve researched, I don’t think I actually have it. Whatever’s causing it, it only appears on my cheeks. I do love spicy foods, but I control myself. The last time I went to a dermatologist was when my forehead was breaking out. My parents asked him to check my face to see if I could prevent pimples, because everything below my forehead was pretty much flawless, besides the red veins. He never said anything about them.
Are there any products that could help minimize, or even diminish these red blotches on my face? School is starting soon, and I feel really insecure about them.
Here’s a picture of my cheek:

I am asian, if that matters. I read that caucasians were more likely to have rosacea, and that ethnicities can contribute a bit to skin types.
Please answer if you can, and thanks in advance
I apologize for such a long description.
Obviously, a dermatologist’s diagnosis would be the only sure way to tell, but I have just recently had some red spots come up on my face. I do not have acne, and these spots are red, blotchy, slightly itchy, and I have little bitty bumps, very small and unlike pimples; more like a rash. I have noticed them on my forehead between my eyebrows and down the bridge of my nose, around my t-zone on either side of my nose, and a few blotchy spots surrounding my mouth. The only thing I know of that may have brought this on would be a visit to a tanning bed, which has never brought on anything like this before. I just turned 31, it seems to me like I’m a prime candidate, as I’m the right age and fair skinned. If this is the case, what can I do? I started using Clinique’s Redness treatment for daily face care, but it’s killing me; I’m also oily skinned, and my oil has increased since I stopped using salicylic acid face products, and started using the Redness relief stuff. Help!!
I have excessively dry skin that is almost immune to any kind of lotion or cream. I am 13 and have had skin problems for almost four years, I am over acne but I still get blemishes. It is on my face (it’s affected my forehead, cheeks, and has even spread to my upper lip!), arms and hands and back. It’s horrible, I hate it. Please help! Oh, and my mom said that if it goes on for much longer I’ll have to see a dermatologist! That would be so embarrassing! Would you suggest a soap or cream for it if you can?
I broke out all on my chin and around my lips and a little on my forehead
I wore makeup today and I was really stressed out all yesterday and this morning about my best friend, which probably helped with the break out.
Monday is the first day of school and I want the acne to be greatly reduced if I can…
I used cold cream to take off the makeup and it says it deep cleans and gets hidden dirt and makeup…can it get rid of acne too? What else can I do to get rid of my acne before school? Thanks!

I suspect that I may have rosacea acne and ocular rosacea as well. My forehead is covered in small pimples, is red and blotchy, and itches constantly. The same time this developed, my eyes became very dry and itchy, to the point that I rub them until they are swollen and bloodshot. I can’t get in to see a dermatologist for another month. Is there anything I can do in the mean time to help my condition? I have been using alpha hydroxy products, which from what I have read, explains why this is getting worse instead of better.
I don’t have bad spots, just a few on my chin and forehead, that may not be that noticeable, but i’d still really like them to go away
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good anti-blemish cream that i could buy from Boots/Superdrug?
- I’ve tried toothpaste and stuff, no luck. Sudacrem makes them smaller, but they still aren’t going away.
Any help would be awesome
