I have moderate acne on my forehead and I get some random pimples in other places on my face, but not as badly.

I’d really like to get a lotion that is oil free and I can get in most stores. I don’t want it to clog my pores or be too expensive.

If there’s anything out there like that, that will help smooth and moisturize my skin, it would be really great if you could tell me what it is.

And please-don’t say Oil of Olay. I’ve tried it, and it doesn’t work with my skin.

Thankyou so much for your help :D I’m not asking for a cleanser-just an under moisturizer for my face. Thankyou :D

I’ve had these red blotches since I was in elementary school (now in high school). I do have a bit of acne, but I cleanse my face twice everyday with Clean & Clear, and sometimes put moisturizer on. My skin is slightly oily, but it’s mostly on my nose and forehead. I wash my hair everyday, if that matters, and I try to change my pillowcase as often as I can. I also clip my bangs to the side when I sleep, but these red blotches seem to never go away. The only things I pop are whiteheads, which don’t show up frequently.

I heard rosacea could be it, but from what I’ve researched, I don’t think I actually have it. Whatever’s causing it, it only appears on my cheeks. I do love spicy foods, but I control myself. The last time I went to a dermatologist was when my forehead was breaking out. My parents asked him to check my face to see if I could prevent pimples, because everything below my forehead was pretty much flawless, besides the red veins. He never said anything about them.

Are there any products that could help minimize, or even diminish these red blotches on my face? School is starting soon, and I feel really insecure about them.

Here’s a picture of my cheek:

I am asian, if that matters. I read that caucasians were more likely to have rosacea, and that ethnicities can contribute a bit to skin types.

Please answer if you can, and thanks in advance :) I apologize for such a long description.

I want to go buy neutrogena oil free acne wash today for my oily/combination acne prone skin. i’m currently using neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser for day and night and i don’t think it’s working well enough for my oily skin.

Has anyone tried neutrogena oil free acne wash - what are your opinions? It doesn’t bother me if it dries out my face because I wear moisturizer after washing my face.

hello i need to know from someone who has either sensitive skin or suffers from rosacea who has used this neutrogena product. i wanna know if it helped w/ the redness or acne or both without being too harsh. i’m using cetaphil gentle cleanser but i keep breaking out. i feel like it’s not cleaning enough and was thinking of switching. if you’ve tried it please let me know your thoughts… thanks. oh and if you can, let me know what moisturizer you use along with it. my face is going a bit crazy.

And what moisturizer will work ?

or should I buy one or the other? because theyre both in the cleanser category, but they do different things. I have a toner and moisturizer also, so: both or one? and which one?

So I have always had red cheeks. And hated it. I wasn’t sure exactly why. I never really had acne. I do get bumps and pimples on occasion and the rare zits.
But I just had my second child and my Rosacea got bad enough for me to realize thats what is has been. My skin gets so red and itchy you can tell its inflamed and irritated, its also very dry.

Im done with it, is there anything I can do to calm me severely dry irritated face? I cant really were make up because its so dry, and my moisturizer is not helping anymore. It may be worse since I JUST gave birth. But Really I need a little self esteem back.

Is there anything I can do? I heard the Aveeno Calming lotion works, but do I need anything else too?

Hi!
I have a lot of dark spots on my face from old acne. I am very self conscious about it. :(
Anyway, what is the best daily face wash to use to fade them? Moisturizer? Anything else? I already know about lemon juice.
I dont really get new acne anymore, it’s just that I have a lot of scars.
Thanks.

i have very bad rosacea, my face is constantly red, i am constantly flushing and i have bad cysts and acne. i’ve used tetracycline and metrogel and it worked for a little bit but eventually stopped working, i was on it for almost a year. i am not a big fan of constantly being on antibiotics!! and i’ve tried proactiv with the same results. i cant afford laser treatments so thats a no go too.. is there anything else out there i can try without it irritating my skin further? preferably over the counter or natural?? i’ve been to the dermatologist and they just keep forcing the antibiotics and metrogel and i’m all set, it didnt work the first time why should i take it now? i’ve read up on some rosacea websites and some people recommend using rosemary oil or prosacea cream. has anyone had any experience with either?? also are there any suggestions on a good cleanser and moisturizer i can use? any help is greatly appreciated as i am at my wits end with this terrible red and painful face!!!

This is my first pregnancy and i started to get acne almost right away, im 22 weeks pregnant now and it just keeps getting worse, i wash my face twice a day, i exfoliate and i use a acne treatment moisturizer. Does anyone know of anything that will help and that is safe to use while pregnant
