I have excessively dry skin that is almost immune to any kind of lotion or cream. I am 13 and have had skin problems for almost four years, I am over acne but I still get blemishes. It is on my face (it’s affected my forehead, cheeks, and has even spread to my upper lip!), arms and hands and back. It’s horrible, I hate it. Please help! Oh, and my mom said that if it goes on for much longer I’ll have to see a dermatologist! That would be so embarrassing! Would you suggest a soap or cream for it if you can?
my mother tells me to wash my fash with acne cream. i use it, and the next day i have more acne than i even started with. my mom doesnt believe it is the cause. this time its gone too far. where as before i only had acne on my nose, now its on my cheeks and forehead! and it wasnt there last night either! TT^TT will someone PLEASE prove that this fact is correct?
my mom got me Acne Free but before I use it I wanna know it works………..do u know how it works?
My mom has acne scars and she’s very self conscious to where she cries. It’s not bad but she’s hard on herself. there’s no "craters" on her face just some purplish discolor. I bought her some avon stuff. It was really expensive but it didn’t do anything. Please don’t say bare minerals. I use it and I put it on her and it didn’t cover her scars. Any suggestions at all. I feel bad for her. Someone told her recently she looked like she had rosacea and it was so sad seeing my mom cry. :’ (
I’m a girl and my time of the month has already past, but I just broke out pretty badly. I haven’t broken out in a while, and I need a home acne remedy fast. I look terrible, and I’ve already cost my mom a ton of money on other acne solutions. Do any of you know how to get rid of this fast (with a HOME remedy)!!!???
It’s has only been getting worse, and it’s to a point where I won’t leave the house without foundation (which barely even hides the redness) and I’m only 15! I won’t even go to a pool party because I can’t imagine myself without the foundation. My mom said there are creams to help it?? Has anyone used any?? And what were the results?? Thanks.
I have never had much acne, and it has always been very mild, and only a pimple or so at a time.
Having said that, last night, I noticed that the left side of my face started itching like CRAZY. I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror, and it had broken out into a bright red rash and now parts of it burn lightly, and that portion my skin went from smooth to bumpy and rough and really awful feeling..
My mom has rosacea, and I called her this morning to ask if she thought it might be whats on my face, and she doesn’t know.
My question is, can rosacea affect only one side of the face? Are the symptoms I described here typical of the condition? And if not, what could it be?
I’ve googled just about everything I can concerning it, but I can’t find anything that quite gives me a straight answer to my question.
Also, what are some tips and pointers to help soothe my skin until I can get to a dermatologist sometime next week??
So I’ve done my research online, and I know that Rosacea usually occurs in older women and is uncommon in children, but I think I have it. I’m only 15 years old and I easily blush. And like for about 2 years my cheeks and nose have been constantly red for no reaon. When I exercise, my entire face swells up like a red balloon. The only time that the redness is a littlee bit lighter is when I wake up in the morning. I also have acne on my forehead and it seems like I have it on my cheeks too. My friends tell me it looks like I have a sunburn always.
Now, I’ve brought up my concern with my mom. But all she does is laugh at me. I’ve asked her why it’s red then and she tells me it’s just my nose allergies and because I stay up. She’s not being serious with me so I decided to ask someone else.
So am I just being paranoid about my skin and is my mom just being a typical asian mom that thinks she has all the home remedies for everything or do you think I have Rosacea?
My mom told me that if I had a shot which injected steroids into my body, my hormone level would fluctuate, and my acne would vanish, along with my acne scars. Is that true???
im 14, but i my cheeks are always red, i blush easily, and they get really red after i go from an environment that is like hot to cold or exercise or somethin like that. also, my mom has it and i heard it can be hereditary.
anyway, just wondering, can u tell if you have rosacea as a teen?
