I know anything you’d get from a dermatologist like retin A is a big no no, but what about the Acne free stuff that’s 10 % peroxide? Salicylic Acid does nothing for my acne so its not a good option.

Anybody that is experiencing or has experienced acne during pregnancy, have you taken any doctor prescribed medication for it (if so, what)? If you didn’t go to a dermatologist, what over-the-counter cleansers, creams, etc., did you use that helped alleviate break-outs?
I’m getting more break-outs than before I was pregnant and I’m wondering what has worked for other women. I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant with my first and just want to be careful. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
I have had acne and whiteheads throught my life.I am now 30 years of age and my skin still suffers from few blemishes.Does anyone had their acne cleared up because of pregnancy?

I usually have pretty clear skin, but since you’re not allowed to use any of the acne washes with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, I look like I’m going through puberty again! What cleansers have you guys used that are safe and effective during pregnancy?
I had acne before pregnancy, and i took minocycline pills for it. it worked wonders. i had tried all kinds of creams and even paid 0.00 for laser treatment which also didn’t work! Now that I am pregnant, i cannot use the pills. Does anyone have any suggestions? I try not to wear makeup, wash my face often..Its not like the acne thats huge huge pimples or anything, its just mild ~ and leaves lots and lots of redness. But i dont want anything that will dry my skin out too much! i wash with a mild apricot scrub to exfoliate the dead skin and use st. ives gentle cream cleanser for acne prone skin. i like the washes, but they obviously dont make the acne go away completely! HeLp!
I’ve always had problems with my skin, since I was about 11.
But actually, my acne improved with pregnancy. Aside from the scars that I had, I only have a few blemishes now.
Anyone else experience this odd luck? I don’t want it to go away! lol

I was wondering if any of ya’ll had acne as an early symptom OR as something that showed up during your pregnancy. I have incredibly clear skin, and since a bit before April 11th (when I experienced 2 days of spotting) my skin has absolutely EXPLODED into horribly painful cystic acne. NONE of it has gone down…
